Che bella la Liguria! 

Con il freddo dell'inverno è proprio bello trascorrere qualche giorno in un luogo con un clima più mite. Alcuni amici mi hanno ospitato a Santa Margherita Ligure, bellissima cittadina  della Riviera di levante a circa 30 km da Genova e a pochi km da Portofino, località famosa in tutto il mondo.

Beautiful Liguria!  

In this cold winter it is so nice to spend some days in a warmer place. Some friends invited me to stay with them in Santa Margherita Ligure, nice town located in the Riviera at about 30 km from Genoa and a few km from the beautiful fishing village Portofino.

Special Olympics: un grande evento a Bardonecchia

Dal 13 al 18 gennaio 2019 si terranno a Bardonecchia gli Special Olympics Italia, XXX Giochi Nazionali Invernali.

La fiaccola olimpica che è partita da Torino martedì 8 gennaio, attraverserà i paesi della Val di Susa per arrivare a Bardonecchia il 15 gennaio.
La fiaccola ha fatto tappa anche a S.Antonino di Susa giovedì 10 gennaio.

Gli atleti si sfideranno in diverse discipline tra cui sci alpino, sci di fondo, snowboard...

The Special Olympics - XXX National Winter Games - will take place in Bardonecchia from January 13th to 18th, 2019.

The Torch Run started from Turin, passing through the villages in the Susa Valley and will end in Bardonecchia.

The athletes will compete in several disciplines: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and much more...

Ben arrivato 2019!

Auguro a tutti un magnifico 2019!!

Un altro anno è iniziato. Il tempo corre, per me, va troppo veloce. Mi piacerebbe veramente vivere in una società meno frenetica dove si possano apprezzare i piccoli gesti e trascorrere più tempo con gli amici e le persone che amiamo.

Un po' di nostalgia per i bei vecchi tempi!

Ho trascorso il primo giorno dell'anno a Susa.

Susa è una delle più interessanti località da visitare in Val di Susa, la cittadina da cui prende il nome la valle. Si trova a circa 56 km da Torino e a una cinquantina di km dal confine francese.

Camminando per Via Roma, una delle vie principali, vi capiterà sicuramente di sentire parlare francese. 

Susa è molto frequentata da turisti francesi, specialmente di martedì quando c'e il mercato.

Tra le cose da vedere ci sono l'Anfiteatro Romano, il Castello della Contessa Adelaide, il Museo diocesano di Arte Sacra, la Cattedrale di San Giusto... solo per citarne alcuni.

Non voglio svelarvi proprio tutto... dovete visitarla e poi mi farete sapere.

Welcome 2019!

I wish you a wonderful New Year!

Another year has just began. The time is running fast... too fast for me.

I would like to live a simpler life, to appreciate the little things and spend more time with family and the people I love.

I hope I can do it soon.

On 1st January 2019 I was in Susa.

Susa is  a town located at about 50 km between Turin and the French border.

It is one of the most important of the Susa Valley. The name of the valley comes from this town.

As you walk along Via Roma, one of the main roads, it is so common to hear French people speaking. They come very often on Tuesday when there is the outdoor market.

There are so many sightseeing spots in Susa like the Roman Amphitheatre, the Castle of  the Countess Adelaide, the Museum of Sacred Art, the Cathedral of Saint Justus and much more.

I cannot reveal to you everything... you have to visit Susa and let me know.
